Canvas - Integration - Films on Demand and Infobase LTI tools

The Films on Demand and Infobase LTI tools are approved for use within the Digital Learning Environment (DLE). View, search, and embed Films On Demand videos and custom content directly into your Canvas courses and modules. A new icon will show up in your course rich editor letting you search and preview On Demand content. No additional log in required. A Films On Demand subscription is required.

Accessibility

Films on Demand statement: "Films On Demand is partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Infobase checks for accessibility using a range of automated and manual checks. For example, we test the interface for screen reader accessibility using JAWS with Internet Explorer. We employ a variety of additional tools used to test accessibility that includes WAVE (web accessibility evaluation tool) provided by WebAim, Focus indicator, Manual keyboard testing, http://validator.w3.org/ and HTML_CodeSniffer. Infobase also employs the services of outside usability and accessibility consultants to ensure that we are adhering to the latest accessibility standards and guidelines."

Security

This app utilizes LTI 1.1. No Canvas APIs are used. The application allows users to search for content in the Films on Demand product and embed results inside Canvas.
