Canvas - Integration - LinkedIn Learning 1.3

The LinkedIn Learning LTI 1.3 integration for Canvas has been approved for use in the Digital Learning Environment, with caveats. Campus Canvas administrators should contact the Digital Learning Environment Service team for implementation assistance. The benefits of integrating LinkedIn Learning content with Canvas include: seamless access to LinkedIn Learning for students and instructors, engaging user experiences for students and instructors, and gradable content.

Summary

LinkedIn Learning, formerly known as Lynda.com, offers online video tutorials on business, software, and IT topics.

Note: Campuses which implemented LinkedIn Learning prior to LTI 1.3 may be using login identifiers which are not compatible with LTI 1.3, and may therefore have difficulty implementing LTI 1.3. Campus Canvas administrators should contact the Digital Learning Environment Service team for assistance.

Costs

LinkedIn Learning is implemented at the campus level. There are no direct costs to instructors or students.
