Kaltura - Mediaspace service overview

Kaltura MediaSpace is the video portal for University of Wisconsin System institutions participating in the Digital Learning Environment (DLE). Instructors, students, and staff can use it to easily upload, store, stream, and share (or restrict) videos. Many of these video features are also available through Kaltura's Canvas integration, but Mediaspace allows users to manage or publish their media outside of Canvas.
You can reach the Kaltura Mediaspace at: https://mediaspace.wisconsin.edu/

Users can log in by going to the Guest dropdown, selecting Login, and logging in with their campus credentials.

Mediaspace login screen, with Guest dropdown menu opened up, and "Guest" and "Login" highlighted.

Search

From the Mediaspace homepage, users can browse or search for videos that other UW System institution users have publicly posted.

Mediaspace Search button highlighted.

Note: searching and browsing only reveals videos that owners have made public, not private, course-restricted, or unlisted ones.

Managing Media

Users can upload, record, edit, delete, and publish (make public) their own Kaltura videos through Mediaspace in many of the same ways that they would through Kaltura's Canvas integration. Here are a few of the features which work the same in Mediaspace and Canvas:
