Zoom (Known Issues) - Basic License or meetings that expire after 40 minutes
Users of the University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) Zoom license may sometimes find that their Zoom license has been downgraded to a "Basic" Zoom license and they lose some Zoom functionality (for example, their meetings may be limited to 40 minutes). Logging in to the UW System Zoom portal at https://wisconsin-edu.zoom.us/ should automatically restore a user's Zoom license and return full functionality.
This typically happens after a user has gone at least 150 days without logging in to Zoom. Unfortunately, accessing Zoom through the Canvas integration may not count as "logging in." As mentioned above, logging in to the UW System Zoom portal at https://wisconsin-edu.zoom.us/ should resolve this issue.
