Kaltura (Player) - Hotspots feature enabled 04/19/23

Following a successful change request, the Kaltura Hotspots feature has been enabled for the default video players on the University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) instance of Kaltura. This feature allows video owners to add clickable links at designated points in a video.

This new feature will be available for all videos on the University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) instance of Kaltura, although a video owner must edit a video to add hotspots to it.
Once added by a video owner, Hotspots will display in the following Kaltura Players:
- UW-Player-01 - Basic
- UW-Player-02 - Download
- UW-Player-03 - Share / Embed
- UW-Player-04 - Download / Share / Embed
- UW-Player-05 - Transcript
- UW-Player-08 - Horizontal Playlist
- UW-Player-09 - Vertical Playlist
- UW-Player-10 - Vertical Playlist - Download & Share
Because of size limitations or competing features, Hotspots may not display in other Kaltura Players.
