Canvas (Web conferences) - “BigBlueButton (Formerly Conferences)” error resolved 08/16/21

On 08/16/21, the University of Wisconsin System Digital Learning Environment Team resolved an error allowing Canvas users on the UW System (except for UW-Madison) instances of Canvas to access an unsupported web conference tool - "BigBlue Button (Formerly Conferences)." With this fix, UW System users will no longer see “BigBlueButton (Formerly Conferences)” on the course navigation menu.
The problem, first reported on 08/05/21, was limited to the Training & Development and Continuing Education instances of Canvas. To resolve the issue, the DLE Team re-applied its custom Canvas Theme.
