Canvas (ePortfolio) - Portfolio Storage Limits
As of June 2026, the Canvas ePortfolio tool will be discontinued and replaced with the Portfolio tool.
Unlike the previous ePortfolio tool, there is no separate storage system for Portfolios. A users' storage space is shared between Portfolio, discussion attachments, and other uploaded media.
UWS Canvas Administrators cannot increase individual users' Portfolio storage limits in Canvas. Users who need more storage space should shift files into campus cloud storage solutions:
- Kaltura for video, audio, and images.
- Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive (depending on campus) for other files.
