WiscWeb - WordPress UW Theme - "Sorry, there was a problem" Error

This document will describe the "Sorry, there was a problem" error, when you might see it, and what you should do if you encounter it.

"Sorry, there was a problem" error


This error is typically an indication that you are logging in to WiscWeb at the wrong location.

It is most commonly seen when users try logging in to their site URL rather than the true login link. 
Example: https://yoursitename.wiscweb.wisc.edu/wp-admin

Make sure you are logging in at https://wiscweb.wisc.edu/wp-admin.
