KB User's Guide - What is the KB Advisory Group?

This document provides information about the KB Advisory Group, including what it is, when we meet, and how to join.

Overview

The KB Advisory Group is a group of KB admins and authors, lead by members of the KB Team. The KB Advisory Group meets monthly, typically on the last Friday of each month.

In KB Advisory Group meetings, we go over new groups that have recently joined the KB, as well as changes that have been made over the past month. We also take time to cover ongoing work on the KB and changes that have been requested by other KB users. Frequently, the KB Advisory Group will be the first to see new features that have not yet been released.

Notably, the KB Advisory Group has an opportunity to provide direct feedback on these items, and this feedback helps drive some of the decisions we make when it comes to the KB application and service.

Who can join the KB Advisory Group?

We welcome all interested KB users, whether you are new to the KB or highly experienced. This also includes users who primarily author content, even if they do not serve as an admin in the KB.

Participation—both in the group itself and in monthly meetings—is completely optional.

How do I join?

You can ask to be added to the KB Advisory Group by filling out our request form

Once added, you will receive an invite to our monthly meeting series, and you will also start to receive meeting agendas prior to each meeting. You may leave the group at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails sent to the group.
