Kaltura Displays V2 player when V7 Chosen

V2 players are incorrectly being added to Canvas instead of V7 players
Beginning on or around March 21, 2025, Kaltura support began receiving reports of v2 players being displayed instead of v7 players when inserted into Canvas via the Rich Content Editor. Old v2 players are easy to identify becuse they have a warning indicator in the upper left corner of the video. We believe this probelm is only affecting those individuals who have not yet updated their personal player preferences. If you are expericing this issue, please follow these instructions for Updating your Preferred Player in Kaltura. Users should only have to perform this action once to reset their preferences.
