"Course Listing with Non-Student Enrollments" Report added to DLE Datasets (Beta) 08/03/23

A new query has been added to the DLE Datasets (BETA) in the University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) instance of Canvas.
The new "Course Listing with Non-Student Enrollments" report can be used to determine what users other than students (ex. instructors and observers) are enrolled in courses in one or more Canvas subaccounts. The data can also be exported and filtered (in Excel) to report out all of the instructors and Canvas Course IDs in a particular term and subaccount, for example.
It returns the following fields:
- Campus
- Level-1 Account Name
- Subaccount Name
- Term
- SISID
- Course Code
- Course Name
- Canvas Course ID
- Section Name
- Canvas Section ID
- Role
- SIS_enrolled
- First_Name
- Last_Name
- User_SISID
The Role field includes all non-student enrollments (ex: instructor or observer enrollments).
The SIS_enrolled field indicates if the enrollment was manual (false) or if it was done through the Student Information System (true).
DLE Datasets is custom tool which allows University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) Canvas administrators to run preselected reports in the Instructional instance of Canvas. For more information, see Canvas (Reports) - BETA DLE Datasets Tool.
