Canvas - UW Eau Claire Summer 2023 Course Codes 05/30/23

On 05/30/23, the UWSA Digital Learning Environment Team did a special manual SIS Import to fix the course codes (short names) of UW Eau Claire Summer 2023 courses.
This change impacts all courses in the UW Eau Claire - Instructional Roster Courses subaccount in the UWEAU Summer 2023 (UWEAU-2237) term. Canvas courses in other subaccounts and other terms are not impacted.
Because these changes are set to override future updates from PeopleSoft, if any of the impacted courses' information changes in PeopleSoft, the course's instructor or campus Canvas administrator will need to manually update the courses in Canvas. This should only impact course-related fields in Canvas--not users, sections, or enrollments.
The UWSA Digital Learning Environment Team and UW Eau Claire's Canvas administrators continue to work with Instructure to resolve the root cause of the course codes issue.
