Zoom (Admin) - New "Support Administrator" role 10/18/21

A new Zoom administrator role called "Support Administrator" has been created for the University of Wisconsin (except for UW Madison) instance of Zoom.

This role provides elevated access for support personnel who are not the primary Zoom Institutional Administrators of their campuses, but require the ability to do the following:

  1. Verify that a user has a Zoom account.
  2. Check Single Sign On logs for potential login errors.
  3. Create a support ticket with Zoom and have it escalated to tier 2.

Zoom Institutional Administrators may request that additional Support Administrators be created via a support ticket to the Zoom meeting email (which has been provided separately to Zoom Institutional Administrators).
