Kaltura (Video Player) - Video Player Upgrade and Automatic Updates 03/02/21

On 03/02/21, the Digital Learning Environment Team upgraded all of the Kaltura video players available within the University of Wisconsin System (except for UW Madison) to the latest version, version 2.86. Going forward, the video players have been set to automatically update as soon as Kaltura releases new player versions.
The Kaltura video player is the video skin which determines which Kaltura features (such as captions, playback speed, download, etc.) are available with a particular embedded copy of a video. University of Wisconsin System makes several video players available to users with different feature sets, but they are all updated periodically by Kaltura.
