Blackboard Collaborate Ultra - Course Navigation 03/17/2020

In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the shift towards online education at many University of Wisconsin System (UWS) institutions, the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra web conference tool will be made a default part of Canvas course navigation in the Digital Learning Environment (DLE) until the end of the emergency.
This change will take place on 03/17/2020 between 5 AM and noon. The change should not impact in-progress Collaborate Ultra sessions. Users may briefly not see Collaborate Ultra on their course navigation (or see it twice) while the change is being made. [Update: Changes complete at approximately 8:00 AM on 03/17/2020.]
This change will include courses in all Instructional sub-accounts except for UW-Whitewater and UW-Stevens Point. This change will also not include the Training & Development and Continuing Education instances of Canvas.
Users will now see Collaborate Ultra as an option in their course navigation:
Instructors who wish to remove Collaborate Ultra from their course navigation can do so by following the instructions in How do I manage Course Navigation links.
