The new course role, Mentor was created for use in large courses in the UW-Eau Claire sub-account.
The course role of student mentor was created in the UW-Eau Claire sub-account. Role was based on the existing role of Observer.
Users enrolled as Mentors in courses will be able to:
- Email students
- Reply to discussions
- View student group pages
- Participate in collaborations
- View all course content available to students
Mentors will not be able to:
- View student grades
- View student assignment or test submissions
- Edit content
