Sign-in options for Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Shared Device License)
Instructions and sign-in options for users using a device with the Adobe Shared Device License installed
Due to licensing changes made by Adobe (effective on the release of CC 2019), users are required to sign into Adobe Creative Cloud in order to use Adobe Software. Users can log into Creative Cloud using a free Adobe ID, Facebook, or Google credentials. Faculty and Staff (not including student staff) can use their wisc.edu accounts in lieu of creating an Adobe ID to sign in. Similarly, any user can select the Google sign in option and use their wisc.edu account in lieu of a personal Google account. Below are instructions for each of these sign-in methods so users can select the one that works best for them.
To sign into Adobe Creative Cloud open your preferred Adobe Application and you will be prompted with the following window:

Sign-in options and instructions are detailed below.
Once signed in, the Adobe application you selected will open and you will be able to use any other Adobe Application without signing in as long as you remain logged into the computer.
Sign-in options
Personal Adobe ID
If you already have a personal Adobe ID
You may enter those credentials and click ‘Sign in’. The Adobe application you selected will launch automatically.
If you do not have an Adobe ID
1. You can create one for free by selecting ‘Get an Adobe ID’.

2. You will see the following ‘Sign up’ window

3. Enter your information and click ‘Sign up’ to sign in with your new account. The Adobe application you selected will launch automatically. Once you’ve created an Adobe ID, you may use that Adobe ID to sign into any Adobe Applications in the future.
UW provided Adobe ID
1. In the first box within the ‘Sign in’ window enter your wisc.edu email account.

2. Once you’ve entered email address with no password, click ‘Sign In’
a. If you are redirected to the window below, select the ‘Enterprise ID’ option

3. Once you are redirected to a UW branded sign-in window, enter your NetID credentials and click ‘Log In’

a. If you have multi-factor authentication enabled for your NetID you will need to authenticate via Duo.
4. Once you’ve successfully signed in, the Adobe application you selected will launch automatically.
If you see the following window when you attempt to sign in with your NetID, please try a different sign-in method.

1. Click the Facebook button within the ‘Sign in’ window

2. A browser window will open asking you to log into Facebook

3. Enter your Facebook credentials and click ‘Log in’. The Adobe application you selected will launch automatically.
Personal Google Account
1. Click the Google button within the ‘Sign in’ window

2. A browser window will open asking you to Sign in with Google

3. Enter your personal email address or phone number followed by your password
4. You will be asked to complete your user account by confirming information and entering your date of birth.

5. Once you’ve confirmed your information and entered your date of birth, click ‘Done’. The Adobe application you selected will launch automatically.
UW Google Account
1. Click the Google button within the ‘Sign in’ window

2. A browser window will open asking you to Sign in with Google

3. Enter your wisc.edu email address and click ‘Next’. You will be redirected to a UW branded sign-in window.

4. Enter your NetID and password and click ‘Log in’
5. You will be asked to complete your user account by confirming information and entering your date of birth.

6. Once you’ve confirmed your information and entered your date of birth, click ‘Done’. The Adobe application you selected will launch automatically.
