Emeritus Status in the CoE
This is a summary of what to expect when your status in the College of Engineering become Emeritus.
When you become Emeritus Faculty/Staff, there are some changes that you should expect with both your CAE and your Wisc accounts.

CAE’s systems will detect the end of your appointment and start the deactivation process. Because campus only designates emeritus status a few times a year there may be a lag between the end of the appointment, and registration of emeritus status. Your CAE account may begin to expire. If you get warnings, let us know, and we will extend the account to prevent a lapse. Depending on the timing, we may have to do this two or three times. Just let us know if you get a warning by emailing the CAE Help Desk at helpdesk@cae.wisc.edu.
