UW-Madison Google Workspace - What types of accounts are eligible?
Eligibility for UW-Madison Google Workspace can only be granted to Office 365 accounts. The following document outlines the type of Office 365 accounts that are eligible for UW-Madison Google Workspace.
Eligible Account Types
The following account types are eligible for UW-Madison Google Workspace:All @wisc.edu accounts that are eligible for email and calendar
An individual must be eligible for a NetID in order to qualify for an @wisc.edu account. For more information about NetID eligibility, please review this document.
For @wisc.edu accounts with alternate addresses, these addresses will also be alternate addresses for the UW-Madison Google Workspace account.
Example: If Bucky Badger's email address were bbadger@wisc.edu, he might have bucky.badger@wisc.edu and buckingham.badger@wisc.edu as alternate addresses
Office 365 service accounts in domains with Google Workspace enabled

Individual Office 365 service accounts cannot be enabled for Google Workspace. Google Workspace must be enabled for an entire domain.
There are two ways to access UW-Madison Google Workspace with an Office 365 service account:
Link the service account to your NetID.
Login directly using the service account credentials.
If your account is eligible for UW-Madison Google Workspace, you can follow these instructions to log in.
Ineligible Account Types
The following types of accounts are not eligible for UW-Madison Google Workspace:
Office 365 service accounts in domains that don't have Google Workspace enabled
UW-Madison email accounts that are not hosted by Office 365
