Microsoft 365 (Apple Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Reminders on OS 10.9) - Client Capabilities

This document provides an overview of a range of functions and behavior when interacting with Microsoft 365 using Apple Mail, Calendar, and Contacts in Mac OSX 10.9. The functionality considered pertains to the Email, Calendaring, and Contacts portions of the Microsoft 365 suite.

Done through Apple Reminders. Also possible in Calendar to create an event reminder that will open a file at the desired alarm time.

Marking an event created in Apple Calendar as Private reflects correctly as simply "Private Appointment" in OWA. By default, in OWA, events marked as Private will show date and time only--no details. Only users with Delegate sharing permissions can be given the ability to see the details of your private events.
Subscribe to shared Microsoft 365 calendars

Subscribe to external .ics calendars
