UW-Madison Google Workspace - Download and configure Google Drive File Stream

1. Click on the link below to download Google Drive File Stream on your desktop.
   • Download Google Drive File Stream

2. Depending on which operating system you have, choose either

   • Download for Windows
     
   • Download for Mac

3. On your computer, open:

   • Windows: DriveFileStream.exe
     
   • Mac: DriveFileStream.dmg

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

5. If you use Drive File Stream on macOS High Sierra

• Open Drive File Stream.
• At the top left, go to Apple menu and then System Preferences and then Security & Privacy.
• Next to "System software from developer "Google, Inc." was blocked from loading," click Allow.

6. Google Drive File Stream is now configured on your desktop.
