Student accessibility and usability barriers
The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist.
Screen reader accessibility barriers may be difficult for people with visual disabilities
People who are blind or have low vision and are navigating via screen reader may have difficulty navigating some form elements in the application due to labeling barriers as well as some error handling barriers that do not provide enough audio information to make it easy to complete the application form.
Color contrast accessibility barriers may be difficult for people with visual disabilities
Some colors used in the application are difficult to read for people who have low vision or are color blind.
Magnification accessibility barriers may be difficult for people with visual disabilities
Some elements do not reflow properly when a user magnifies up to 400% causing some difficulty for users who have low vision and depend on heightened magnification to complete the form.
