Email Delegation for TitanApps/Gmail

This article provides step-by-step instructions to grant access to an email account to read, send, and delete messages.

Setting Up Email Delegation

  1. Login to TitanApps/Gmail
  2. In the top right corner click on the gear icon and select "Settings"
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab across the top
  4. Scroll to "Grant Access to Your Account"
  5. Choose "Add another account"
  6. A new, yellow, window will pop up with an area to insert an email address
  7. Enter an email address and choose "Next Step"
  8. This will forward to another screen to verify the email address, select "Send email to grant access"
  9. Email access has been granted
The other user can either accept or reject the invitation via an email automatically sent to them. There are two links, one to accept and one to reject, both links will require a confirmation. 

Once accepted, it may take up to 30 minutes for the verification to complete. 

When delegation is completed, the user must click the TitanApps logo in the upper right side and the delegated email address will be listed with delegated in parentheses. A refresh of the screen may be needed. 

Removing Email Delegation

  1. Login to TitanApps/Gmail
  2. In the top right corner click on the gear icon and select "Settings"
  3. Click on the "Accounts" tab across the top"
  4. Scroll to "Grant Access to Your Account"
  5. Choose "Delete" next to the email account that no longer needs access
