Campus Vision - Submission Policy

This document reviews the submission policy for Campus Vision content.


  1. Campus Vision is available only to recognized student organizations, campus departments, and dining promotions.
  2. IT and UMC reserves the right to edit any request for appearance, available space, or clarification. Furthermore, IT and UMC reserves the right to refuse messages which may be considered patently offensive or in violation of copyright.
  3. Advertisements may run for a maximum of three weeks. Extensions to this period will be considered on an individual basis and require permission from the AV Support Coordinator.
  4. IT and UMC will attempt to accommodate all requests; however, the submission of an advertisement does not guarantee that it will be posted.


If your department has their own login, you can follow the steps in the How to Schedule Content document. Campus Vision is updated at least twice weekly; advertisements should be submitted seven days prior to first run date. Send requests via email to or through UMCs Request Form. Please include "Campus Vision" in the subject line.

Include the following information with your request:

  • Run dates

  • Sponsoring organization

  • Your advertisement in one of the following formats

  1. Use standard fonts 
  2. Use wide format (16:9 ratio)
  3. Fonts should be kept to a minimum of 24 point and high contrast with background
Full size graphic
  1. JPG, PNG, TIF, GIF or BMP file
  2. Recommend 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall (16:9 aspect ratio is the standard for all campus vision TVs and players)
  3. Fonts should be kept to a minimum of 24 point and high contrast with background
      1. MOV file
      2. Recommend 1280x720 for videos
