Troubleshooting guide for Albee 202 general access classroom
Projection Issues
Computer
- Verify the projector is turned on
- Verify the computer is on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
- Verify the VGA cable is connected to adapter and adapter connected to computer
Document Camera
- Verify the projector is turned on
- Verify the document camera is turned on
- Verify the correct data source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
- Verify the VGA cable is connected to the port labeled VGA OUT on the back of the document camera
VHS/DVD
- Verify the projector is turned on
- Verify the media tower is turned on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
Laptop
- Verify the projector is turned on
- Verify the computer is on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
- Verify the laptop is connected to the system using the room laptop cable
- Verify the laptop is set to mirror or duplicate displays
Audio Issues
Computer
- Verify the media tower is turned on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
- Verify the audio cable is connected to the computer
- Verify the audio is not muted on the computer
- Verify the amp is turned on
- Turn volume control located on the media tower control panel to the right
Laptop
- Verify the media tower is turned on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on the media tower
- Verify the audio cable is connected to the computer
- Verify the audio is not muted on the computer
- Verify the amp is turned on
- Turn volume control located on the media tower control panel to the right
DVD/VHS
- Verify the media tower is turned on
- Verify the correct source is selected on the control panel on media tower
- Verify the amp is turned on
- Turn volume control located on the media tower control panel to the right
