This document describes how to create a Zoom meeting in Canvas for future or immediate use.
Creating a Zoom Meeting in Canvas
Log into Canvas via https://uwosh.edu/canvas
- Click on a Canvas Course Card
- Click on Zoom located under Course Navigation

- Click "Schedule a New Meeting" located at the top of the page

- On the Schedule a Meeting page enter information in the text fields for:
- Topic
- Description (optional)
- Select a Date a duration
- You can also make changes to:
- Video and Audio settings
- Meetings Options
- Add alternative hosts
- Click Save when finished
- If the save button is not blue, make sure that you have entered text in the mandatory fields
- A notification will be sent to students and instructors in the course and it will appear on the course calendar
