An overview an step-by-step guide to exporting grade rosters to an excel spreadsheet and importing grades

Overview

You can export a course section's grade roster into Excel as a comma separated file (.csv) and enter students' grades in the spreadsheet. Exporting is useful for grade entry on very large sections.
You can then import the grades back into the Grade Roster page.
Note: Import is only available if the grade roster has not been posted. For assistance, email registrar@em.wisc.edu or call (608) 262-3811.
