Brain Atlas is configured in Canvas as an external app and accessed through the course navigation menu. In courses that have used Brain Atlas before, the configuration tends to break when a course is copied from semester to semester.
As a course instructor, you can take the following steps to fix this:
- Navigate to your Canvas course and select Settings from the navigation bar.
- Choose the Apps tab.
- The External Apps page will come up. Click the View App Configurations button.
- Find Brain Atlas on the list of apps, click the gear icon, and select Edit.
- Replace the content in the Custom Fields section with the following: url=https://brainatlas.lti.wisc.edu/atlas
- Submit the change.
Making this change should fix the broken link in the current semester and prevent it from breaking in future semesters.
