LabArchives: Mobile devices
How to use LabArchives on mobile devices with your UW-Madison LabArchives account
LabArchives users can access notebooks on tablets and smartphones using LabArchives responsive web application. Users can:
- navigate and search notebooks,
- create and edit entries,
- comment and receive notifications from notebooks,
- upload photos and videos taken on the device, and
- convert speech to text or handwriting to text in notebooks (as allowed by the device manufacturer).
Important: Before using LabArchives on a mobile device (either personal or university-owned), it is recommended that you comply with the steps outlined to make your devices more secure as it is essential to protect university data.
