Learn@UW/D2L - Specifying Size and Color of Equations

You can specify the size and color of equations created by the Equation Editor in your document.

To specify the size or color of an equation:

  1. Select the yellow equation box containing the symbol  Sigma,  <Sigma>, or \Sigma , depending upon whether the equation was created using the Graphical Editor, MathML input, or LaTeX input, respectively.
  2. Use the 'Font size' or 'Select Color' drop-down control to specify the desired size or color of the equation.
  3. Press the Save, Save as Draft, or Update button.

Select equation to resize or color

Note that size and color are the only attributes you can specify using this method: You cannot specify bolding, italics, or font family.
