Excel (Win) - Recovering the Formula Bar

This document explains how to recover a lost formula bar in Microsoft Excel.

Office 2010/2013

  1. On the ribbon, click on View

  2. Then make sure Formula Bar is checked inside of the Show section

  1. On the ribbon, click on View

  2. Then make sure Formula Bar is checked inside of the Show/Hide section

  1. Go into Tools -> Options.

  2. On the View tab, under the Show category, select the checkbox next to Formula Bar.
