General - Reservation-based Seats and Rooms Grouped by Application
This article documents the various applications used to reserve equipment and spaces within the UW-Madison Libraries. This list includes spaces available during the limited availability brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
LibCal: Wisconsin Historical Society is using a separate application to allow for access to their spaces by the public, in particular those who lack a Wiscard.
UW-Madison Libraries EMS: The Libraries are using their Study Room Reservation System to allow patrons to access study rooms and seats within College, Steenbock, and Memorial.
Note: Reservations include a 15-minute buffer before and after each entry to allow for cleaning and transition times between patrons.
Lib by Appointment: a new library-hosted application to allow access to collections and study spaces across the UW-Madison Libraries. Study spaces do not specify a seat within a space and access is monitored at checkpoints by local staff.
