Master Password Login is compatible with the LastPass website as well as the LastPass browser extensions and Desktop apps.
Self-Service password recovery options are available.
Master Password resets are available (for Enterprise accounts only).
Master Password resets are only available for your Enterprise account, and only if you’ve previously logged in through the browser extension(s).
If you forget your Master Password and you have not logged in through the browser extension(s) and/or you have not set up your self-service Master Password recovery options, you will be permanently locked out of your account. You will be able to reset or delete and recreate your LastPass account; however, resetting or deleting your account will cause the loss of your stored credentials.

Master Passwords for LastPass Premium and LastPass Free accounts are only recoverable through the self-service recovery options. If you forget your Master Password and you have not set up your recovery options, you will only be able to reset or delete and recreate your LastPass account. Resetting or deleting your account will cause the loss of your stored credentials.
UW–Madison MFA-Duo issued fobs (hard tokens) are not supported.
