Blackboard Collaborate Ultra: Intermittent Service Issue - RESOLVED

UPDATE (9:00 a.m. 4/4/19) The vendor successfully deployed the hotfix, which is expected to resolve the outstanding issue.

UPDATE (1:30 p.m. 4/2/19):  The vendor plans to apply an emergency hotfix from 3:00 - 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Users in active sessions during this timeframe may experience multiple reconnection events while the work is in progress

Some Blackboard Collaborate Ultra users may experience a large number of disconnection events, affecting moderators and participants alike, that significantly disrupt the session. The vendor is aware of the intermittent issue and is taking steps to prepare and apply a fix. The session moderator may try to exit and relaunch the session to see if that resolves the issue or may need to use an alternate web conferencing solution (e.g., Collaborate Original, WebEx, etc.) if the problematic behavior persists.
