HR - Employee Self Service - Change Addresses

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This user procedure provides detailed information and instructions for employees on how to Change Addresses via Personal Information section of My UW System Portal.

PROCEDURE STEPS:

  1. Log into the My UW System Portal at https://my.wisconsin.edu.

  2. Click on the Personal Information section.



  3. Click on Update My Personal Information link.

Update Existing Address


  1. Click the row with the current home address.

  2. Enter the date that the new address change will take place.  Home address will define where payroll checks will be mailed if applicable.
    NOTE: If you change to a future date you will see both addresses appear until that date on the Addresses tab on Personal Details.

  3. Update Home address information.

  4. Click Save. A green success bar will appear briefly at the top of the page.

Add a Mailing Address

  1. Click the Add Mailing Address button.

  2. Enter the date that the mailing address change will take place.  Mailing address will define where W2's will be mailed, if applicable.

  3. Enter mailing address information

  4. Click Save, a green success bar will appear briefly at the top of the page.

An email will be sent to your preferred email on file confirming that you made the address change.
