Office 365 (Thunderbird) - Add an attachment to an email

Files, web pages and v Cards can be attached to emails in Thunderbird.

Note before you attach a file, please review Office 365 Limits.


Attaching a file
  1. Open Thunderbird
  2. Create a new message or to respond to an existing message, select Reply, Reply All or Forward
  3. Click the paperclip next to the word Attach

  4. Choose the file you wish to attach and click Open

  5. Write and send your email
Attaching a web page or a vCard
  1. Open Thunderbird
  2. Create a new message or to respond to an existing message, select Reply, Reply All or Forward
  3. Click the down arrow next to the paperclip that says Attach

  4. Then either
    • Choose Web page and enter the address for a web page
    • Click vCard and your vCard will automatically attach
  5. Write and send your email
