Microsoft 365 (Apple iCal/Calendar) - Options/Preferences
This document explains explains the options/preferences available in Apple iCal (Mac OS 10.5-7) or Calendar (Mac OS 10.8-9-10).
Options/Preferences
iCal/Calendar provides numerous options for various things. Of import for Microsoft 365 users is the following.
- Select Preferences from the iCal or Calendar menu :
- On the General tab:
- Default Calendar: you must set this to one of your Microsoft 365 calendars. If you do not, events you create will not automatically be placed in Microsoft 365. Events not in one of your Microsoft 365 calendars cannot be then taken into account by the calendar server when other people attempt to create meetings with you by viewing your free/busy time.
- If you use tasks/reminders and you want them put into Microsoft 365, you should also modify Default Reminder List to indicate a Microsoft 365 calendar.
