Manifest - Invitation Status Definitions

Manifest's email invitation system allows group managers and administrators to track the status of invites. To view the invitation status, follow the instructions in Manifest - Send Email Invitations.

• Pending: Invitations that are active but have not been accepted or declined by the user.

  • Email: The email address to which the invitation was sent.
  • Status: The current status of the email. "Sending" indicates the server has not yet sent out the email to the user. "Sent" indicates the server has emailed the user. "Sent-NetID" indicates they accepted the initial invite need go through NetID activation now.
  • Expiration Date: The date after which the invite will automatically expire and the user will not be able to respond to the email. This date is 2 weeks out from when the invitaiton was sent.
  • Resend: A button which allows group managers and administrators to send another invite to the email address that is listed.
  • Cancel: A button which allows group managers and administrators to invalidate the inviation.

• Accepted: Invitations that the user has responded to and accepted.

  • NetID: Indicates what NetID was added to the group when the invite was accepted.
  • Email: The email address to which the invitation was sent.

• Declined: Invitations that the user has responded to and declined.

  • Email: The email address to which the invitation was sent.

• Expired: Invitations that the user has not responded to in time and have thus expired. These invitations will need to be resent if the user would like to be part of the group.

  • Email: The email address to which the invitation was sent.

  • Resend: A button which allows group updaters and administrators to send another invite to the email address that is listed.

• Cancelled: Invitations that have been cancelled by a group updater or administrator. These invitations will need to be resent if the user would like to be part of the group.

  • Email: The email address to which the invitation was sent.
