Windows 8 and 10 - Changing the Input Language
This document describes how to change the keyboard input language in Windows 8.
Adding an Input Language

Open the Control Panel:
- Windows 8 users see: Windows 8 - Accessing the Control Panel
- Windows 10 users see: Windows 10 - Accessing the Control Panel

Under Clock, Language, and Region, click Add a language.

Click the Add a language button.

Select the language you would click, then click Add.
- You should see the language you added appear in the list below.
Switching Between Languages
Windows 10:
In the lower right corner of the screen, press the icon that has the character sequence representing the current language. This will allow you to switch languages.
Windows 8:

Press Windows + I or move your mouse to the bottom left corner of the screen and click on the gear icon.

You can switch the input language two ways:

Press Alt + Shift.

Click on the language icon and then click on the language you would like to switch to to switch input languages.
