Health Sciences IRBs News
The HS IRBs has several ways to communicate updates on changes to policies and procedures, information regarding our electronic review system (ARROW), and tips and reminders for making the review process smoother.
IEP Updates New Protocol-Based Application information and training sessions New combined website for the IRBsHealth Sciences IRBs Announcements and Listserv Guidance
The HS IRBs hosts two separate listservs: one for general updates and announcements (including the newsletter) and one for people who use commercial IRBs.
The Health Sciences IRBs maintain a listserv to provide study teams and other people on campus with information and updates about the HS IRBs. Listserv announcements may include, but are not limited to, monthly HS-IRBs newsletters, information about the ARROW system, and updates regarding changes to human subjects research regulations, guidance, or policies. The listserv serves as the primary means by which the HS-IRBs provide study teams with important information and study teams are expected to review all HS-IRBs listserv announcements, including monthly newsletters.
Anyone can subscribe to the listserv. To receive general listserv announcements, you MUST subscribe to the listserv by emailing join-hs_irbs_announcements@lists.wisc.edu. To receive updates about Central IRBs, please email centralirb@medicine.wisc.edu requesting to be put on the list.
To be removed from either of these listservs, individuals should submit these requests to the HS-IRBs office by emailing askarrow@hsirb.wisc.edu. Individuals will not be removed from the listserv unless they are no longer serving as PI or a point of contact on a HS or MR IRB protocol.
